I had just completed three natural clear finish bondage benches using maple, all with a different colored material. I used a faux black leather, cappuccino tan, and a burgundy red pad covering. I thought I would mix things up a bit being the creative person I am, and using black material every time was starting to get a little boring especially with the same finish.
